over-thinking/analyzing

so stories are still happening, every day

but some of them not appropriate to share

or some of them aren't yet complete in my head

and others im thinking you'd not be that interested in
for example
last week
was a tough week for our microwave
on tuesday night
we had a kidsitter (and her fiance)
when Avery got home from baseball practice
he retrieved his Arby's sandwich which was saved for him in the fridge
and warmed it in the microwave
WITH the foil still on
as the story was told to us
the foil did in fact start on fire
which i believe
based on the black burn marks on the inside of the microwave
lesson taught - no foil in the microwave

and then friday morning, Lance texted me a picture
that was not recognizable
but clearly was a photo of something in the microwave
of course
it was easy mac
cooked by Davis
without any water
with the plastic lid still sealed on
all while Lance was in the bathroom
and the microwave was filled with smoke
from the foam bowl that melted around the now blackened macaroni
lesson taught - if you're home alone with Davis, lock him in the bathroom with you
Lance has taken the microwave apart
cleaned the filters
sprayed bleach
and essentially done everything possible
to not fill our house with flaming burnt smoke smell
EVERY . TIME . WE . TURN . THE . MICROWAVE . ON!
it's obviously mad at us
and punishing us for the torture from our sons
