...something more...

temp is coming down below 101
D is walking around

playing wii sports resort

DEEP SIGH from me :)

remember my monday post about comfort in routine?
although still very unsettling, today has been more routine than yesterday
WHOOT WHOOT!
CELEBRATE THE SMALL THINGS!
A. even tried to bounce-fresh the shirt he wore to school on monday
so we had a lesson on only wearing a shirt once a week
that lesson was not received too well ;)
C. had to bring jokes to school to celebrate April Fool's Day

What's the biggest ant?
the eleph-ant

What's even bigger?
a gi-ant!

Why did the cow cross the road?
to get to the mooovies

i'm looking forward to going to work here shortly
it's a clear sign of "stability" and "normalcy"

a devotional that was shared with me yesterday referenced
Psalm 81 "...with honey from the rock I would satisfy you.”

some of you have mentioned that you aren't sure what are the "right words" to share with us
reality is, i have no idea what the "right words" are :)
i treasure them ALL!
the devotional i mentioned above went on to ask
"How many times do you and I beg and cry out for what we think is best when all along He has something for us that would satisfy and fill us in a deeper and more lasting way..."
In scripture the Israelites were demanding water, when all along the Lord had something so much richer and better. Read Deuteronomy 32:10-14

"Have your way Lord...we belong to You...we trust You...for You are THE LORD!"

below are lyrics of HONEY FROM THE ROCK
(Psalm 81, Exodus 17, Deut 32:13)
Words & Music by Deb Fessler
Drums by Matt Hugg

He's brought me to this place
I'm so tired, worn, and weary
I come into this place
Crying to the Lord
He's brought me to this place
I can't see past my desires
I want what I demand
But He has something more

He has Honey from the Rock
(From the Rock of my Creator)
Oh He has Honey from the Rock
(Open wide my heart for more)
Yes He has Honey from the Rock
(Why did I ask for water?)

'Cause He has honey from the Rock
(to satisfy my soul)

He's brought you to this place
You must choose if you will trust Him
You come into this place
Oh, wait upon the Lord
He's brought you to this place
Your Father wants to bless you
So set your heart on Him
For He has something more
