thursday evening report

i'm writing from the fog of my post-crisis adrenaline crash

grateful that D and i both slept all afternoon

grateful for the specific support to a&c from their teachers and school counselors

we are celebrating 12+ hours seizure-free!

right now it's so good to see our boy trio playing Wii Sports Resort together, as i battle a headache, knotted stomach, and accepting the shock of this renewed reality

i did talk with the neurologist this morning - she increased his keppra (anti-seizure) dosage to 7.0mls every 12 hours daily (had previously been 6.5mls 2x/day). we will see her on monday, april 18 - including a blood draw to check effectiveness of his new medication level.

we did get D in to see dr B this morning at 11a. we wanted to know if he could see any specific cause for illness that aggravated the seizure disorder which then aggravates the illness symptoms. but all is clear - ears, throat, lungs, etc.

so we are now rotating motrin and tylenol every 3 hours
