good news is
there is a logical explanation for Davis' seizure last week
nurse just called
and his keppra level was 30.8!
that is VERY LOW FOR DAVIS
(although considered therapeutically normal for others)
they try to manage his levels near 40
we don't have record of him being below 36 ever
just in April his level was 38.9
so, his dosage is being increased immediately
to 7.5mls 2x/day
in April we had just increased to 7.0
prior to that he had been at 6.5
please pray for his precious disposition
as we normalize into a higher dose yet again
next blood draw is scheduled for July 27
or unless he has a seizure prior to that
the illogical part of this equation
is trying to figure out why his levels dropped so low
clearly putting him at risk for seizure
we don't think he has grown THAT much in 6 weeks...
